How does your cyber insurance policy define “computer network” or “computer system”? Does that definition match yours? Many policies only cover devices owned by the firm – not by the employee. The rush to work remotely means some people are using their personal devices for work. If there’s a breach of your network from an employee’s device, your policy may not cover it.
