Expanding our Reach in the Bay Area and in Nationwide Entertainment and Sports
Beginning in 2025, EPIC has partnered with COPA Soccer Training Center on a number of initiatives, starting with their free COPA Score assessments program.
The COPA Score is a data-driven evaluation of individual soccer player development designed to eliminate socioeconomic and developmental biases in player identification. With EPIC’s support, COPA will be able to offer this innovative technical assessment at no charge to the first 1,000 athletes.
“This was an amazing opportunity to both get back to our roots in the Bay as well as make a statement about a vital global sport to a nationwide audience,” says Bill Ferree, President, Northern California Region. “For years, our team has been consulting on property insurance with CEO Mark Hall at Hall Equities Group. His enthusiasm for soccer and his development of the incredible Shadelands Sportsmall intrigued us. So when the opportunity came along to participate, and help young players, we knew we had to do it.”
In the first week of February, EPIC and COPA will launch the EPIC Athletes of the Month in support of the program, recognizing one male and one female athlete for their achievements on the field. EPIC will also be the official sponsor of a social media docuseries about the COPA Score assessment.
Bill Ferree, President of the Northern California Region, and Neil Cohn, EPIC Senior Principal, will manage the relationship with COPA over the next year.
