October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM). NCSAM is a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure every American has the resources they need to stay safe and secure online. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) co-lead NCSAM, and this year, EPIC’s National Cyber Practice is excited to join the campaign! Together, let’s increase our Nation’s resiliency against cyber threats.
Own IT. Secure IT. Protect IT.
This year’s theme is OWN IT. SECURE IT. PROTECT IT. Through this theme, NCSAM will spend October emphasizing the role each individual plays in online safety. The campaign will also stress the importance of taking proactive steps toward enhancing cybersecurity at home and in the workplace.

Protect IT:
Implementing network security defenses, incident response plans, and employee training are all essential elements to protecting your organization against cyber-attacks. Unfortunately, strong network defenses are not enough.
